What is the address of the port?

Town Quay Marina, Town Quay SO14 2AQ. There will be Nordic Spirit brand ambassadors on site to direct you to our terminal when you arrive.

How long does the crossing take?

1 hour 15 mins (approx.) Departing from Southampton (Town Quay Marina) to West Cowes (Thetis Wharf).

How do I get to Town Quay Marina from Southampton train station?

There are buses operated by Unilink and First from Southampton Central Station to Town Quay. They operate very frequently and cost £2- £3 pp. Alternatively there is a ‘QuayConnect’ service departing from Southampton train station to the Marina.

Can I leave my car at the terminal?

There is parking at the Triangle Car Park which is very near the terminal (charges apply).

What happens if I miss my sailing?

We will endeavour to get you on the next available sailing that has space on that day (although this is not guaranteed), there will be three that operate daily. If you are booked on the last sailing of the day you will need to ensure plenty of time to arrive before departure. We will not make any overnight arrangements (that would be at your expense) but we would endeavor to add you to the next available sailing with availability at our discretion.

Are there any additional ferry times apart from the ones stated?

No, our ferry sailings on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th June are at 11am, 2pm and 5pm. For the return journey on Monday 20th June they are at 10am, 1pm and 4pm.

What happens when I get to West Cowes?

There is a designated shuttle bus stationed at Thetis Wharf (IOW) that will drop you at the festival campsite entrance. Brand Ambassadors will be on-site to direct you to the shuttle pick-up point.

How long is the shuttle journey from West Cowes to the festival campsite?

The shuttle bus journey is 30 minutes (approx.), however this may be longer due to high traffic. It is advised that you bring some refreshments for the journey.

Will there be food and drink on the ferry?

We have an on-site bar where you can purchase drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Light snacks will be provided on the return journey. We try to cater for various food allergies wherever possible, but we cannot guarantee our products will suit your dietary needs. If any food or alcohol is being taken in your own luggage for the festival please note this will need to be stowed in the cloakroom throughout the crossing for passenger safety. You will also be given a wristband, which enables you to visit the Nordic Spirit stand at the festival site where you will be able to redeem a free drink.

Are there cloakroom facilities onboard?

There is a dedicated space where you can store bags/rucksacks and camping equipment, this will be on the bottom level of the ferry.

Are there W.C facilities on-board?

Yes, there are multiple facilities on-board.

Will there be COVID-19 health and safety measures in place?

As with attending the festival, we ask that all our passengers do not enter the site if you believe that you may have been infected with Covid-19 and/or you are displaying symptoms of Covid-19. You may be required, as a condition of entry, to comply with any Covid-19 regulations, restrictions and/or entry requirements imposed at the time of the festival by the event organizer or relevant authority (and the event organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to the event if these are not complied with). Whilst it is currently not compulsory to provide your vaccination status, this is subject to change and it is advised to stay up to date with government guidelines. In terms of prevention on-board, we are restricting our capacity to 150 passengers per crossing and our staff will clean surfaces regularly and there will be hand sanitizer available.

Do I need to bring any confirmation or tickets with me?

No, as long as you and all persons in your group have registered, our staff will be able to check you in when you arrive at the terminal. These FAQs are subject to the Nordic Spirit Ferry Terms and Conditions
